Working round-robin with CUMB Poet Laureate Bree Doering and Minister of Propaganda Tyler Benedict (two very funny writers for whom I have a great deal of admiration), we put together an edgy, hilariously biting set of jokes and, more importantly, had a blast doing it:

Unlike the elitist liberal media, we in the Band listen to the man on the street—especially when he’s a crazy guy with a sign screaming at us to repent. Yes, the world’s major religions can all agree on at least one thing: the guy in the sky is majorly pissed off at us, and this year he’s not taking shit from anybody. The Christian God finally got around to destroying Haiti two hundred years after its “pact with the Devil,” while the Muslim Allah has been causing earthquakes in Iran because women have boobs. And everybody knows what those crazy Jews think caused the volcanic eruption in Iceland—a buildup of molten rock and pressurized gas being expelled through a vent in the Earth’s crust? Silly Jews!
